Zukai Soken Inc. has joined the "Public-Private Partnership Platform for Resolving Transportation Gaps," established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism!
This platform was established in November 2024 to promote collaboration between local governments, transportation operators, and various companies and organizations, with the aim of solving transportation gap issues across Japan. As of November 25, 2024, 167 companies and organizations, primarily transportation operators and partner companies, have already joined.
[Background of Participation]
Zukai Soken has been working to solve regional issues through visualization and dialogue using diagrams. A prime example of this effort is the "Community Drive Project" currently underway in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture.
This project has been adopted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Mobility Human Resource Development Model Project. It aims to address and solve regional mobility issues and future challenges, as well as to cultivate and discover "Community Drivers" – individuals who promote (Drive) mobility within the community – and to develop the necessary programs and tools for this purpose.
In this project, Zukai Soken has contributed to creating a mechanism that enables people from different positions, such as residents, local governments, and transportation operators, to share a common understanding of issues and facilitate smooth discussions and consensus building among stakeholders. This is achieved by creating an "Mobility Issues Map" that visualizes the structure of social issues related to regional mobility, along with their causal relationships.
Utilizing the experience and knowledge we have cultivated, we will contribute to solving regional issues through the "Public-Private Partnership Platform for Resolving Transportation Gaps."
