Hello.

Overview

This app is an iOS application designed to record small "firsts" in daily life, based on the concept of "One 'first' at a time." It provides a mechanism to carefully record discoveries hidden in everyday life—a new place visited for the first time, a food eaten for the first time, a person spoken to for the first time. It was released on the App Store on March 16, 2026.

Background of Development

hajimete was developed based on an idea that had been nurtured for over 10 years.

As adults, daily life can sometimes feel like a repetition. However, if we pay attention, there are "firsts" in every day. The initial question was: wouldn't recording these discoveries enhance the resolution of our daily lives?

The idea that "recording enhances the resolution of daily life" is a sentiment shared by Zukai Soken, which has structured and visualized things through the method of "zukai" (diagrammatic representation). If zukai visually clarifies the structure of things, then hajimete visualizes one's own experiences. We aimed to bring out the richness of daily life with an approach characteristic of Zukai Soken.

This is the second app development, following PACE, to utilize generative AI. From design and UI to implementation, the entire process was completed solely through dialogue with generative AI, advancing development through Japanese communication without directly writing any code.

Recommended Features

◾️Just one word to write

Simply select a date and record something within 40 characters. With no categories or tags, you can start using it immediately after installation. It's a simple design that allows you to jot things down the moment they come to mind.

◾️Casually rediscover past "firsts"

When you open the app, past records are displayed randomly. "Oh, that happened!" — that feeling makes you cherish your days a little more.

◾️Your data stays with you

No ads, one-time purchase, no membership registration required. All data is stored on your device, with no transmission to servers. You can use it as your own private, quiet record book.
