I was in charge of planning and running the seminar for "N Salon," a new community launched in partnership between the Nikkei Shimbun and note. N Salon combines the best of both worlds, the "business" side of Nikkei and the "creativity" side of note, to provide a place of learning for all kinds of people.
I was in charge of a seminar called "Business Model Diagram Camp" and created a participatory community where people could learn by showing each other the diagrams they made. This is for people who want to learn about business structures creatively through diagrams and for people who feel uncomfortable with business. The goal is to change that feeling of discomfort into "Maybe business is interesting?"
The reason we named it "camp" is because we wanted it to be more than just a classroom setting, but a place where participants could learn on their own and learn from each other, just like when they spend time outdoors. We aimed to create an environment that would maximize the effectiveness of that experience.
