PACE

Overview

This iOS app, based on the concept of "Fun to continue, good progress," visualizes the pace needed to achieve your goals. It provides a mechanism to help you continue without overexertion by showing you "just how much you need to do today." It was released on the App Store on February 25, 2026.

It simultaneously visualizes the "remaining count," "remaining days," and "current pace" for continuous goals tracked by count, such as reading, studying, exercising, habit formation, and work. After its release, it achieved #1 in the paid ranking of the App Store's Productivity category (as of February 26, 2026).

Background of Development

"I'll read 50 books this year," "I'll run three times a week"—setting goals themselves isn't hard. But you often find yourself forgetting them. This experience is the starting point for PACE.

Simple goals like how many times to do something by when can often slip away in the midst of daily work and life. We wanted to minimize that. This concept, which had been in our minds for a long time, has finally been realized in the form of an app.

This development was also an experimental project for Zukai Soken. It was an attempt to complete everything from design and UI to implementation purely through dialogue with generative AI. The development proceeded solely through Japanese communication, without looking at any code, and was implemented in one week from conception and released in ten days. The thinking that Zukai Soken has cultivated over the years—"structuring information and making it visible"—culminated in a product through the tool of AI.

Highlights

◾️See how much to do today just by looking at the color

Progress is displayed in five color-coded stages: "Very Fast / Fast / On Track / Slow / Very Slow." You can grasp your pace at a glance and decide your daily target without having to check numbers in detail.

◾️Even if you miss a day, your pace is automatically recalculated

Each time you record, the remaining pace is updated, allowing you to restart without panic even if there are gaps. The design prioritizes continuing over aiming for perfection.

◾️No unnecessary features

No ads, one-time purchase, no login required, data stored only on the device. We are committed to a simple environment where you can focus solely on your goals each time you use it.
