"The Accounting Map: A Single Diagram That Will Help You Understand the Flow of Money" (by Tetsuro Kondo and Makoto Okiyama) is an introductory book on accounting that will be released by Diamond Inc. on March 16th. It has been gaining attention, having ranked first in its category on Amazon when preorders began.
This event is a publication commemoration event where the author, Tetsuro Kondo (nicknamed Charlie), will briefly introduce the contents of the book ahead of its release on March 16th. This will be the first time that he will talk about the contents of "The Accounting Map" in public.
Why is accounting so difficult to understand? There are probably two reasons.
One is the difficulty in understanding the words, and the other is the difficulty in understanding the relationships.
The Accounting Map conveys words and the relationships between them in a single diagram.
This is content that should be listened to by people who have not had much exposure to accounting before, such as those who have not had any exposure to accounting before but feel that they need to study it, or those who have tried to study accounting in the past but gave up because the language was difficult.
