Lecture at Shibaura Institute of Technology's School of Design Engineering

May 7, 2022

I spoke at the "Business Model Theory" seminar held by the Shibaura Institute of Technology's School of Design and Engineering.

There are seven classes held every other Saturday, and this lecture will be given in one of those slots.

There were approximately 60 participants, and we received feedback after the class.

Thank you for reaching out!

[Some of the comments we received]

Not only was I able to deepen my understanding of business, but I also learned a lot about design, which is how to communicate information in a way that is easy to see and understand.

◯ Today's lecture allowed me to visualize the overall picture of business and to gain a method for creating value in the first place. In particular, I felt that the idea of dividing things into four parts and paradoxical thinking can be applied not only to business but also to myself.

I discovered that it is more important to clearly and easily convey what you want to convey to the other person in the illustration than to neatly summarize the content, and I feel that my understanding of illustrations has deepened.

This course is designed with the aim of applying to the Shibaura Business Model Competition (SBMC), and involves ① classroom learning, ② generating ideas based on presentations by guest speakers, and ③ learning the process of turning those ideas into business models through group work.
